Our client is looking for a site manager for the construction of a unique building.

Knowledge of structural works, in particular concrete, is a must because you are the guardian of the quality plan. A complex specification requires a site manager with sound knowledge of the facts who ensures that the works are carried out according to the technical specifications of the client.

Job details

Function

  • Proactive technical monitoring of the assigned tasks.
  • The task of the quality control supervisor is to prevent deviations or non-conformities with the contractual technical documents of the contractor’s (planned) work, and not only to note their determination;
  • The supervisor has an immediate duty to warn in the event of a deviation or non-conformity being detected;
  • Monitoring the contractor’s compliance with its quality assurance plan. After approval, the Supervisor signs off on the assigned inspection documents.
  • Writing inspection reports
  • Good knowledge of
    • Construction sites
    • Reinforced concrete (EN 13670 standard);
    • Concrete repair work (the EN 1504 series of standards), including sprayed concrete;
  • Experience in the industrial (nuclear) sector is an asset (safety culture, quality & HSE);
  • Previous experience as a construction supervisor is a necessity;
  • Knowledge of 10CFR50 (Quality Assurance Criteria for Nuclear Power Plants, issued by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in the US) is an asset;
  • Dutch-speaking with the ability to understand standards and / or technical specifications in English
