In the context of developing and executing critical infrastructure projects, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead tunnel, dynamic signaling, and traffic management systems. You will work on complex projects with high safety criticality, in close collaboration with government agencies, integrators, technical teams, and operators.

Function

Project Management
- Ensure the overall management of projects (costs, quality, deadlines, risks) from the study phase through to commissioning and final acceptance
- Manage projects for tunnels, dynamic signage, SCADA, automation, traffic lights, barriers, VMS, and remote management systems
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client (administrations, operators, authorities) and partners (integrators, subcontractors)
Contractual and Financial Management
- Manage contracts (public and private), budget monitoring, invoicing, changes, and change requests
- Ensure compliance with contractual, normative, and regulatory requirements (CSC, tunnel standards, functional safety, LIS, etc.)
- Anticipate and manage technical, financial, and scheduling risks
Coordination Engineering
- Coordinate internal (engineering, automation, IT, commissioning) and external teams
- Validate technical architectures, system interfaces, and solution choices
- Supervise key phases: FAT, SAT, commissioning, functional tests, acceptance
Quality, Safety, and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with tunnel security, system availability, and cybersecurity requirements
- Ensure the application of standards and best practices (systems engineering, functional safety, 24/7 operation)
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project processes
Communication & Reporting
- Provide regular reporting to the client and management
- Lead project meetings, steering committees, and technical reviews
- Write and validate project documentation (planning, reports, technical files)

Job requirements

Education
- Engineering degree (electrical engineering, automation, civil engineering, industrial computing, or equivalent)
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing complex technical projects
- Proven experience with tunnels, road/rail signaling, traffic systems, or critical infrastructure
- Strong proficiency in managing projects within a public procurement environment
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of dynamic signaling systems, PLCs, SCADA, networks, and control systems
- Knowledge of the operational, maintenance, and availability constraints of critical systems
- Ability to engage in dialogue with technical experts while maintaining a global project vision
Language Skills
- French: Fluent
- English: Fluent (written and oral)
- Dutch is a plus
