Function

As a Safety Coordinator Level B, you will undertake the tasks as defined in the Royal Decree on Temporary and Mobile Construction Sites. During the execution phase, you will monitor the correct application of safety measures and make adjustments where necessary to make the construction process safer.

You will analyze work plans and plans of approach, detect risks, and formulate clear preventive measures, taking into account simultaneous activities of various contractors. You will actively participate in work meetings, provide reports of coordination meetings, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who…

  • Holds a Safety Coordinator Level B diploma.
  • Has at least 5 years of experience as a safety coordinator on construction sites.
  • Has thorough knowledge of the applicable laws and regulations regarding construction safety.
  • Is prepared to be present full-time on the construction site in Antwerp.
  • Communicates fluently and clearly in Dutch, both orally and in writing.
  • An engaging position with the necessary responsibility
