Our client is seeking the services of an experienced Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to work on the design of gas, energy, and nuclear structures. The role involves providing civil expertise to successfully deliver projects in collaboration with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and the civil and project teams.

Job details

Function

  • Providing technical leadership and team management to deliver work packages effectively.
  • Coordinating and communicating on complex engineering problems between project stakeholders.
  • Providing technical reviews and responding to site queries and requested changes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to support proximity activities on-site. • Conducting and reviewing structural analysis carried out in FEM packages (experience with Ansys is beneficial).
  • Providing technical oversight of reinforcement detailers and reviewing detailing models and drawings.
  • Providing expert oversight and technical direction to teams completing the design of reinforced concrete structures.
  • Developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Supporting the business development team during the tendering process for our future project stream.
  • Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Full proficiency in ANSYS
  • Full proficiency in Code_Aster
  • Full proficiency in SCIA Engineer
  • 15 years of experience
  • VCA
  • French, English, Dutch (minimum 2 out of 3)
