Function

As a Buyer, you are responsible for the entire purchasing process of industrial goods and services, from quotation to contract management. Depending on the complexity of the file, you will take on a guiding or supporting role and ensure market-conform and well-considered solutions.

You identify purchasing needs through data analysis and consultation with internal clients, update technical and commercial specifications, and manage current contracts. In addition, you will contribute to a long-term vision for specific purchasing categories within the purchasing plan.

We are looking for someone who…

  • Holds a master’s degree in Industrial Sciences, Applied Economic Sciences, or similar.
  • Has at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an industrial context.
  • Has experience with negotiations and contractual texts.
  • Has an affinity with technical purchases and public tenders (advantage).
  • Works proactively, assertively, and diplomatically.
  • Is organizationally strong and functions well under pressure.
  • Is fluent in Dutch and French and has a good knowledge of English.
