– Conduct visual inspections on site.
– Supervise the installation, assembly and testing of Electrical and Instrumentation systems in compliance with the project codes, standards and schedule. Ensuring the realization of works in accordance with client contract
and technical documentation.
– Supervising Electrical and Instrumentation subcontractors, suppliers, and others, and reporting to Site Manager.
– Lead and coordinate the supervisors within your team.
– Liaise, cooperate and collaborate with other Construction Superintendents and supervisors, Commissioning team and site QA/QC and HSE Managers to resolve problems and challenges.
– Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and report issues.
– Resolving problems and implementing improvements in construction processes with support from Constructability & Methods team and Site Manager and in collaboration with the Project Lead design and engineering teams.
– Report and Control of subcontractors’ progress.
– Perform the required inspections for all material and equipment deliveries to site or prefabrication shops offsite, with issue of a Material Reception Report (MRR) together with the Project Warehouse Manager and other team members.
– Attend quality and safety inspections.
– Participate in coordination meetings.
– Ensure Implementation of Company Standards.
– Maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction processes.
– Perform regular inspections and ensure required maintenance of Electrical and Instrumentation Equipment after delivery to project site until Mechanical Completion (MC) with support of the Warehouse Manager.
– Coordinate the installation of all Electrical and Instrumentation systems at site with Subcontractors, Vendors and Lead Engineers.
– Coordinate the reply of subcontractor site technical queries with the related Lead Engineers.
– Support the Lead Engineers and Construction Manager with the cost estimation and planning of construction works.
– Ensure that the subcontractor documentation is delivered on time and in compliance with Project Document Control system.
– Review related Subcontractors’ construction documentation (PCD, TSP, Method Statements, ENQ, ITPs, etc.)
– Support the preparation of required project construction documentation for inquiry to Subcontractors and project execution.
– Contribute to Improvement of Company Construction standards, specifications, typical and procedures.
– Assisting with technical bid evaluation of Subcontractors offers in compliance with Project plans and specifications.
– Assist the Completions Manager with Mechanical Completion (MC) check sheets closeout and report.
– Carry out systems Mechanical Completion (MC) walkdowns for check sheets closeout and produce / report punch lists.
– Support of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
– Follow up completion of open punch points from vendor Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
– A Technician or Bachelor’s degree in related Engineering fields, or a related field experience with Electrical and Instrumentation background.
– Proven experience in Electrical and Instrumentation construction related roles, with > 7 years of construction experience across major projects of chemical / petrochemical plants preferably in the gas industry.
– A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
– Knowledge of national and international codes and standards
– Excellent communicator, problem-solving mindset, and leadership skills.
– Knowledge on ATEX is required.
– Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, German language knowledge is appreciated.
