– Assess product designs, construction plans, and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
– Evaluate construction methods for adherence to safety and quality regulations
– Interpret and provide guidance on local and international regulatory codes and standards
– Conduct inspections and perform tests to verify compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
– Develop, implement, enforce and update policies, procedures and control plan
– Contribute to a sound and robust compliance oversight and culture in the scope of European regulations and be local regulations applicable to construction environment
– Ensure the implementation of the compliance framework including identifying and raising gaps for remediation if needed
– Developing and maintaining a transversal risked-based framework to focus on major compliance, and risks and perform an efficient risk-monitoring program
– Contribute to implement and to ensure follow-up on compliance training and communication plan
– Attend internal committees related to compliance specific topics
– Deliver expertise and support internal stakeholders on compliance topics
– Perform compliance controls, report on result and monitor action plans on a regular basis;
– Analyze data from tests and inspections to identify areas of non-compliance
– Prepare and present compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies
– Implement and monitor corrective actions to address non-compliance issues
– Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle
– Train staff on compliance matters and best practices
– Communicate with regulatory bodies to address queries and submit necessary documentation
– Maintains close communications and coordination with the construction managers and Engineer manager
– Undertakes regular meetings with team and regulatory bodies to address compliance matters
– Attends meetings with Contractors as and when required.
– Arrange for the review and commenting of Subcontractor ITPs, quality plans, method statements, procedures, specifications, material supply and certification, trade tests, etc. prior to work commencing.
– Coordinate appropriate internal review process of Subcontractor documents.
– Liaise & assist with Subcontractor submission of ITPs prior to work commencing.
– Liaise & assist Subcontractor ensuring installations to be compliant with regulatory requirements
– Collect sufficient and appropriate records aimed at confirming compliance with applicable standards.
– Ensure the extent of testing complies with project specifications and evaluate the necessity of additional tests.
– Liaise with subcontractor and superintendents for the execution of Inspections and tests concurrently with the execution of the relevant construction and installation works, all items subject to an inspection or test cycle which by their nature or service are to be covered and will be no longer accessible shall be inspected and tested before getting covered.
– Conduct assessments of the Contractors for compliance with procedures and ITPs and retain records of the assessments and the status of any corrective measures.
– Identify quality related deficiencies/ problems and issue appropriate notifications/reports for effective resolution (QDR and NCR).
