• Cost estimates, measurements, budget monitoring, and cost control for piping and mechanical works
• Monitoring expenditure and financial progress together with the EPCM contractor
• Regular site visits to verify progress and identify future QS requirements
• Monitoring contractual agreements and project specifications
• Preparing and presenting progress and cost reports
• Handling subcontractor claims, variations, and contractual discussions
• Keeping track of scope changes and QS documentation
• Supporting tender processes, including BoQs and QS documentation
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
• Demonstrable experience as a QS within mechanical scopes on large industrial projects
• Thorough knowledge of cost structures and contract management
• Familiar with Belgian regulations and standards within piping and mechanical works
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Experience with QS software and MS Office
• VCA-VOL certificate or willingness to obtain this before starting
