Functie

Project Management:

  • Leading, organizing, executing, evaluating, and adjusting (technically in-depth) projects in collaboration with other (internal and external) employees, to realize Fire Safety & Security systems/installations that meet all legal, operational, and safety regulations;
  • Planning, reporting, and communicating to realize the project in a timely manner and to keep stakeholders informed of progress;
  • Professional coordination of the work to bring the project to a successful conclusion in a cost-efficient manner;
  • Managing and compiling the complete project file with the associated procedural and administrative follow-up. This includes, among other things, drawing up specifications and carrying out government contracts

Technical advice & support:

  • Acting as a technical point of contact for Fire Safety & Security: passing on knowledge about installations and providing technical advice to internal/external parties to achieve a higher level of service and develop knowledge among colleagues;
  • Monitoring processes, systems, and installations with the aim of guaranteeing their operation and functionality in the short and long term;
  • Identifying, analyzing, and addressing problems and looking for solutions to prevent defects.
  • Master’s degree in industrial sciences (Industrial Engineer) or equivalent through experience;
  • Several years of relevant experience in industrial fire safety and/or security;
  • You can draw up design requirements and specifications;
  • You know how to convey knowledge and technical advice in an understandable way;
  • You can defend files in a well-substantiated manner;
  • You work smoothly with colleagues inside and outside your department;
  • You work proactively to avoid problems and possess a great problem-solving ability;
  • Knowledge of technical English;
  • Knowledge of ICT networks is an added value.
