Function

  • For a leading client in the process industry, we are looking for a Civil Construction Supervisor with extensive experience in supervising and managing civil engineering construction activities.

    As a Civil Construction Supervisor, you will be part of our client’s Construction Team. You will support the civil site contractors on-site and ensure that the work is carried out safely, according to specifications, and within schedule and budget. You will provide daily supervision of progress and serve as the central point of contact for the contractors, the Bilfinger project organization, and the client.

    Your responsibilities:
    Supervision & coordination
    • Monitoring civil installation and construction activities within the project
    • Ensuring that the approved design is executed in accordance with safety and quality standards
    • Daily presence at the construction site for supervision, coordination, and problem-solving

    Safety (HSE)
    • Investigating and, where necessary, escalating incidents
    • Initiating and following up on corrective measures
    • Leading Construction Safety Peer Reviews
    • Evaluating the safety performance of designers and contractors
    • Facilitating project close-out reviews and lessons learned, including safety aspects

    Planning & communication
    • Managing and monitoring the construction schedule
    • Providing clear and timely communication between the project team, contractors, and the client
