We prepare you in 2 modules full of practical and theoretical knowledge. From reading technical drawings to materials knowledge: this training fully prepares you for your role as a mechanical work planner.
What you will learn
- Plan activities and assess safety risks.
- Create a budget estimate and planning that stay within the limits.
- Perform field checks and take into account on-site conditions.
- Efficiently manage and order materials.
- Apply the correct permits and procedures.
Content of the Mechanical Work Planner training
With 25 interactive lesson evenings, you will work on both theoretical and practical skills. Afterwards, you will take an exam before a jury of experts and receive a certificate.
Module 1: General knowledge
- Shutdowns and work preparation
- Technical documents and drawings (PID, isometric drawing)
- Tools such as Excel and SAP for work planners
- Calculation and unit times
Module 2: Technical knowledge
- Basic knowledge of static and rotating equipment
- Piping, structural steel and seals
- Services such as scaffolding, insulation and lifting work
- E&I aspects and inspection principles
