11. What is the difference between temporary employment, secondment, and project sourcing?
Project sourcing
Project sourcing is often confused with secondment or interim work, but the difference lies in the approach and structure. With project sourcing, you are assigned to a specific project with a clear beginning, end, and description of the work.
You work for Network, but we operate within the projects of our clients. Our focus is on clearly defined tasks, open communication, and transparent collaboration. This model offers security and structure while you work on challenging projects.
Secondment
Secondment means that you are employed by an employer, such as Network, but temporarily work on location at a client. In Belgium, the term is often used incorrectly, because officially secondment refers to working abroad for a certain period of time.
At Network you remain working in Belgium, which is why we do not speak of technical secondment. The concept is similar to project sourcing, but the emphasis in project sourcing is more on project-related work with clear agreements.
Temporary employment (interim)
Interim work is another form of temporary employment contract. As an interim worker, you are employed by a temporary employment agency and hired out to another company.
This often involves flexible and short-term week contracts, which can be extended. In contrast to interim work, project sourcing offers a contract for the duration of an entire project, which gives more security and continuity.
12. What does project sourcing pur sang mean at Network?
At Network, we go beyond just offering work. We ensure that each project is carried out by the right specialists. Our projects are clearly described with a beginning, end, and clear expectations. Transparency and honest communication are central, just like our values: decency, professionalism, warm & human. Thanks to this approach, we make project sourcing a sustainable and professional choice for technical talents and clients.
