Every Confidential Advisor

Imagine that you can only share your concerns or questions with your supervisor. What if you have a problem with your supervisor? That's not ideal, is it? To remove all barriers, the role of confidential advisor was created in the 1980s. Initially focused on eliminating sexual harassment of women, it is now widely applicable.

A listening ear within reach

Are you experiencing problems at work, but you don’t feel comfortable discussing this with your supervisor? That is understandable. This can cause stress, burnout, or even resignation.

That’s why there is now a confidential advisor: someone you can confide in and work together to find solutions.

Meet Elke

Officially, Elke is a Management Assistant, but in practice, she is much more. After 10 years of service, she knows the organization and her colleagues inside and out. Her warm personality, integrity, and accessibility make her the perfect confidential advisor.

“Pouring your heart out to your supervisor can be intimidating,” says Elke. “I want to be there for those who need it.”

How does it work?

You can contact Elke with all your confidential questions. Do you not feel comfortable sharing your story with your supervisor? Then send an e-mail to vertrouwenspersoon@netwerkbelgium.com for an appointment. Only Elke has access to this mailbox.

During the conversation, Elke listens to your story, discusses what you have already tried, and looks at the next steps together with you. She does not always offer a direct solution, but she can guide you and refer you to the right people.

Trust and discretion guaranteed

Confidentiality is guaranteed, and you can count on Elke’s commitment and involvement to address your problems.

Do you need a listening ear? Contact Elke and know that you are not alone!
