Social Compliance & Process Improvement Lead

This role involves optimizing, structuring, and safeguarding the social compliance processes within INEOS Project One.

It combines operational compliance control with process improvement, digital optimization, and team support.

The focus is on efficient workflows, clear documentation, and the management of key SC systems (HubSpot, SharePoint).

In addition, trends and risks within the subcontracting chain will be monitored to enable timely corrective actions.

Process Improvement & Structuring

โ€ข Optimizing and standardizing social compliance processes.

โ€ข Creating workflows, procedures, and quality guidelines.

โ€ข Developing manuals, templates, and work instructions.

HubSpot Optimization & Functional Management

โ€ข Managing and improving pipelines, ticket flows, dashboards, and reports.

โ€ข Testing, configuring, and documenting new functionalities.

SharePoint Structure, Optimization & Management

โ€ข Structuring the SharePoint environment for social compliance.

โ€ข Managing folder structures, access rights, and document flows.

โ€ข Safeguarding version control and document standards.

Dashboards, Reporting & Trend Monitoring

โ€ข Developing visual dashboards.

โ€ข Monitoring trends, recurring issues, and risk domains among contractors.

โ€ข Providing data-driven insights and recommendations to management.

Team Training & Onboarding

โ€ข Training team members in new processes and systems.

โ€ข Organizing mini-trainings, demos, and refresh sessions.

โ€ข Acting as the point of contact for workflows, tools, and documentation.

Operational Social Compliance Tasks

โ€ข Performing checks on contractors (A1, Limosa, contracts, wages, permits).

โ€ข Following up on and mitigating non-compliances.

โ€ข Supporting audits, reviews, and communication with subcontractors.

โ€ข Conducting spot checks and internal audits.

Specific Role Requirements:
โ€ข Knowledge of Belgian/EU labour law for migrant workers
โ€ข Streetwise and accurate, able to handle sensitive complaints with an unbiased attitude
โ€ข Willing to work 4 out of 5 days on a construction site in the Port of Antwerp + 1 day WFH
โ€ข Execute weekly internal audits/spot-checks on-site with a colleague year-round; construction site experience is a bonus

Level of Education & General Experience:
โ€ข Hands-on attitude, analytical and problem-solving skills
โ€ข Stress-resistant, able to define and prioritize issues and solve them in a pragmatic way
โ€ข Self-starter with self-resolving skills
โ€ข Excellent verbal and written Dutch & English; knowledge of Eastern European languages is an advantage
โ€ข Previous experience in complex construction projects
