Our client is looking for a Designer/Draftsman to actively participate in design and drafting work (in EPLAN) in support of the Electrical and Automation Design group.

Job details

Function

  • Discussing the desired situation with project managers for projects in the conceptual and basic design phase and translating this into an electrical file/design.
  • Providing electrical advice during risk analyses (including HAZOP) for the installations to be designed.
  • Independently creating design and execution plans in EPLAN, primarily for automation panels (in accordance with EN-60204-1).
  • Fully developing plans ready for panel building, including bills of materials and panel layouts.
  • Developing plans ready for electrical inspection, including cable and temperature calculations (CANECO).
  • Creating as-built drawings of completed installations.
  • Monitoring panel construction and inspections.
  • Designing the electrical aspects of the complete PULSAR installation.
  • Compiling a dossier for the panel builder.
  • Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences, Electromechanics/Electricity, or equivalent through experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in electrical design or drafting.
  • Demonstrable experience with automation panels in accordance with AREI and EN-60204-1.
