Dennisse, from psychology to recruitment

Dennisse studied clinical psychology but ultimately did not end up in a practice, but in recruitment. Her fascination with people, talents, and motivations proved to be a perfect fit for a career in which she brings candidates and employers together on a daily basis. At Netwerk, she found the ideal balance between freedom and collaboration, challenges and successes. She explains how psychology and recruitment seamlessly merge.

From psychology to recruitment

As a child, Dennisse saw herself as a teacher or psychologist. During her studies in Applied Psychology, she came into contact with recruitment through a holiday job. Although she graduated in clinical psychology, she opted for an initial experience in this sector – and that turned out to be a bullseye.

A world of people

Recruitment is all about people, and that is exactly what fascinates Dennisse so much. No day is the same: one day she helps a candidate find a dream job, the next day she looks for creative solutions in a tight labor market. She enjoys the conversations with candidates from various sectors and finds it valuable to discover their talents and link them to the right employer. This human aspect makes her work dynamic and motivating.

Freedom and responsibility

At Netwerk, Dennisse is given the freedom to carry out her work in her own way. She determines her own schedule and working method, without strict frameworks or micromanagement. This trust ensures that she works with more pleasure and motivation. The balance between independence and teamwork is perfect: she can always count on her colleagues for support, but at the same time, she has the space to make her own choices and take initiative.

Challenges and successes

The search for suitable candidates remains a challenge in a competitive market. It requires perseverance and creativity to attract and convince talent. Sometimes it is a long search, but the feeling of satisfaction is great when a candidate ends up in the right place. The small victories, such as a satisfied applicant or a happy employer, make the work worthwhile. Dennisse gets a lot of energy from these successes, which she celebrates together with her team. The strong mutual bond ensures that challenges weigh less heavily and successes feel all the more beautiful.

Looking to the future

Dennisse loves an environment in which she can continue to grow. She continues to challenge herself, both in her work and in her free time, where she is inspired by go-getters such as top athletes. Whatever the future brings, job satisfaction comes first.
