Peggy the Payroller

Payroll, the monitoring of salaries, is a crucial factor for an organization like Netwerk. Peggy therefore fulfills a crucial role. For more than a decade, she has been the linchpin in the payroll department, and she does even more than that. She lives the core values of Netwerk by focusing on people in addition to the HR technical process.

HR Assistant

Officially, Peggy is an HR Assistant in payroll, but in practice, she is much more. She serves as the first point of contact for employees with questions about HR: everything from contracts to parental leave and health insurance. “Payroll is more than just paying wages; it is ensuring that our people feel valued and understood,” Peggy explains.

Teamwork

Of course, Peggy is not alone in following up on everything. Constant contact with Ine, Nadia, Karen, and Elke ensures that she is part of a strong, seasoned team to manage the administrative process smoothly.

Digitalization

In her thirteen years at Netwerk, Peggy has experienced significant changes, especially a digital step forward. The digitization of administrative processes has changed and facilitated a lot. Peggy adapted well each time, and felt it correctly: there is now even more need for human interaction.

Showing Empathy

One of the most crucial aspects of Peggy’s work is her ability to show empathy. “The human aspect of HR cannot be underestimated. It is not just about correctly calculating salaries, but also about supporting people through the complexity of HR regulations.”

Regulations and Training

In addition to digitization, the various regulations have also changed significantly. Peggy regularly attends training courses and closely monitors the changes so that she can always provide the correct answer. Thanks to her expertise and dedication, Netwerk ensures that every aspect of the payroll is handled correctly, which is essential for building and maintaining trust.
