For our operational and strategic purchasing activities, we are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist who can manage the full purchasing lifecycle with impact. In this role, you combine operational execution with strategic insight, working closely with technical, operational and project teams to ensure cost efficiency, compliance and performance. You play a key role in supplier management, contract governance and continuous improvement within purchasing.

Functie

Operational purchasing: converting ATBs (purchase requests) into POs (purchase orders)
Approving orders internally within the defined delegations of authority
Checking blocked invoices and taking the necessary steps to release them
Organizes and manages the complete purchasing process including needs anticipation, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, award, and contract administration during execution
Defines purchasing and contracting strategies together with technical stakeholders and category managers to optimize cost, compliance, and performance
Leads cost optimization actions using market intelligence, supplier qualification, target prices and consolidation of needs
Manages, alongside his/her team, a portfolio of ~35 service contracts, including contract reviews, performance assessments, renewals, and rationalization
Coordinates supplier performance reviews and commercial claim management in cooperation with legal, insurance and finance
Maintains relationships with suppliers and supports deployment of supplier initiatives with technical stakeholders
Prepares purchasing dossiers for internal governance bodies including contract committees
Ensures compliance with Group policies, ethics, transparency rules, internal procedures and legal requirements
Conducts selective audits of contractual documents to ensure adherence to standards and correct application of general purchasing terms
Organizes duet meetings with technical contract managers and partner entities
Promotes sharing of lessons learned and continuous improvement within purchasing activities
Works closely with operational, maintenance and project teams to consolidate needs, challenge specifications and manage priorities
Contributes to the annual procurement plan and monitors deviations throughout the year
Provides commercial support to operational teams in case of disputes with contractors
