Functie

The duties & responsibilities are:

  • To support and guide the safe execution of mechanical and piping pre-commissioning to achieve the mechanical completion work scope in accordance with contract requirements, specifications, procedures, and schedule.
  • Supervise the testing of mechanical and piping systems in accordance with applicable pre-commissioning, commissioning, and relevant vendor test procedures.
  • Manage the subcontractor(s) involved in pre-commissioning tasks to meet the project schedule and established project milestones.
  • Review applicable discipline commissioning technical documentation and procedures.
  • Provide competent supervision in the pre-commissioning and testing of mechanical and piping plant, equipment, and systems as indicated in the relevant procedures, and update procedures as necessary.
  • Monitor and report progress as required.
  • Ensure all activities are implemented in a safe manner using the project HSSE rules and protocols.
  • Prepare for future work fronts, including the preparation of applicable documentation such as work packs, PTW requests, method statements, SIMOPS, etc.
  • You have extensive work experience in the field of mechanical pre-commissioning within the petrochemical industry.
  • You have an excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • You are authorized to work in Belgium.
  • You hold a valid VCA-VOL certificate.
