What will you be doing?

Your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the correct quality of permit applications and monitoring an efficient timeline.
  • Ensuring effective cooperation and division of labor within the permit office.
  • You are the contact person, expert, and advisor for internal departments. You are also their point of contact with the competent authority/government.
  • You check the permits for content, completeness, and legal grounds, and adjust where necessary, so that the application runs smoothly.
  • You are the contact person for the permit issuers, work with them, and contribute ideas for effective permit issuance.
  • You ensure correct and timely correspondence and consultation with the government and are able to get things done.
  • You ensure that all stakeholders are aware of the correct information and maintain good relationships with the stakeholders in the field of permits.
  • You ensure good administration and ensure that all documents and applications are archived in a correct and clear manner.

A challenging working environment in which you, as an Expert Permits HSE, are given a lot of responsibility and freedom to make projects a success. That is why we ask something of you:

  • Extensive and demonstrable experience with applying for or granting environmental permits.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • A completed university degree. An environmental technical and/or legal direction is a plus.
  • You are able to bridge the gap between permit professionals and the professionals in our production.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented thinking. You are able to phase and can separate main and side issues.
  • You are able to sense which conflicting priorities between production, project progress, legal preconditions and overarching goals can play a role in an application. And then you also know how to come to solutions.
  • You love a complex environment in which you are able to build bridges. That also means that you can persevere and are flexible.
