Fonction

  • Responsible for defining the project scope.
    • Defining specific deliverables: what is completed when the project is finished?
    • Defining constraints (budget, schedule).
  • Responsible for assembling and leading the project team.
  • Responsible for the technical design of the entire project.
  • Responsible for drafting specifications/tender documents for orders, engineering firms, and contractors (both internal and external).
  • Responsible for the selection of orders, engineering firms, and contractors. Also taking into account specific resources, such as designers, as well as outsourcing (parts of) projects:
  • Managing and monitoring all resources, both internal and external.
  • Maintaining contact with the client throughout the project to record and assess changes. If agreed upon, implementing these into the project (scope changes).
  • Reporting to stakeholders.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a project manager managing industrial projects (full project responsibility).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a (project) engineer (mechanical, electrical, piping, civil, …).
  • Technical knowledge of other disciplines such as electromechanics and chemistry is a plus.
  • Experience in the process industry is mandatory.
  • Extensive experience with MS Project as a project management tool.
  • Knowledge and application of all common aspects of project management.
  • Academic level of thinking (analytical, but also with a helicopter view).
  • Strong administrative reporting skills.
  • You take initiative! As a project manager, you are the leader who manages stakeholders, teams, contractors, etc.
  • Team player, communicative at all levels (clients, colleagues, suppliers, senior management…). You can lead and coach a team.
  • Broad experience and a strong interest in technology, engineering, and project management.
  • Dutch: native/fluent
  • English: fluent
