We are looking for a Tank Maintenance Specialist who facilitate or perform planning, execution, oversight, project closing, and verification activities associated with tank maintenance and repair projects.
- Develops Company-Plan basis & cost estimates for tank maintenance & repair projects with Operations support.
- Supports development of required Project Implementation documents, Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) routing, requesting quotations, requesting POs, design reviews, risk assessments, etc.
- Schedule tank availability & facilitate project resourcing with Area Operations.
- Develop tank strategies / specifications / lead Tank Maintenance Best Practice reviews.
- Support bid reviews & contractor selection for cleaning tank repairs
- Select and schedule API 653 Inspection contractor
- Provide oversight of API 653 Inspections, review inspection reports, develop tank repair plan.
- Support project pre-startup / tank turn over to
- Operations for return to service.
- Maintain tank API 653 reports, uploads to SharePoint library, and updates Tank database
- Steward tank maintenance process and cost performance.
- Network within Company’s US Midstream department, Company Global Networks to improve process for continuous
- improvement.
- Provide technical guidance in Aboveground Storage Tank design and repair related reviews and field issues
- Provide expertise in the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) process to facilitate RBI assessments or equipment strategies development.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Compliance group and Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) dept. to ensure permit and regulatory compliance requirements are integrated into the Aboveground Storage Tank work schedule and tank maintenance practices.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (PreferablevMechanical)
- Previous experience in a closely related position

- Functional Skills: SSHE – operations and maintenance, managing critical maintenance activities, maintenance planning, mainte3nance scheduling, turnaround planning, turnaround scheduling, maintenance management.
- Discipline appropriate certification(s) or equivalent professional experience
- Effective communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely describe conditions in the field and recommend remediation steps
- Team Player; exhibits effective teamwork when working with persons over whom the person may have no direct authority and willingness to assist others
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
- Should have experience with tank maintenance, preferably in petrochemical context
