This group is tasked with the delivery of ~15 world scale PE and PP plants to various licensees around the globe for licensed processes.
This is a chance to join a small team of leading engineers providing process engineering support to these licensees, and the potential to assist during commissioning activities.
Commissioning locations include China; Russia, Czech Republic, Azerbeidjan & USA.
The candidates will have a chemical engineering degree with ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the polyolefins industry (PE slurry phase loop reactors).
Contribute to safe operation at client site
Deliver technical services at client site (As-Built Check, DCS Factory Acceptance Test, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up, Production, Transitions, Optimization and control support)
Develop / modify technical manuals and operating guidelines in support of licensing packages
Contribute to the internal evaluation and optimization of operating guidelines
Deliver training sessions and documentation for licensees
Develop process control expertise to be recognized as a competent process control expert by Licensing clients for problem-solving and operations improvements
Assist in technical clarification meetings, lead Licensees through plant visit to display our process capabilities
Analyze and criticize the design proposed by equipment suppliers. Propose selection/modifications of equipment suppliers offer to the approval of the process implementation manager
Participate in plant safety audits.
Being able to understand and use INEOS design tools (excel)
Being able to check and test equipment like pumps, compressors, etc. against their datasheets and generate testing reports
Level of education & Experience in general
Chemical Engineers with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations/engineering of PE plants with similar technology
Experience on a unit running technology similar to the Licensed technology
Excellent knowledge of operational aspects and highly skilled in problems solving
Excellent understanding of the relationship between equipment design and influence on operation impact in the process
Ability to communicate in English
Technical and Behavioural skills
Fundamental knowledge of chemical engineering and thermodynamics
Broad knowledge of chemical process engineering and /or operations
Culturally aware and able to work well with many nationalities
Willing to travel
Good communication skills and ability to work well with diverse teams such as engineering contractors, manufacturing & process engineers and client operations and engineering teams
