.
The Consultant shall be required to provide Logistic Coordination services and expert advice, including but not limited to the following:
- Oversees all project logistics execution.
- Act as coordination between Procurement, construction, and finance clients /Contractor teams to ensure alignment or all logistics issues.
- Issue regular reporting on all logistics matters and resolve, as necessary.
- Ensure all logistics implications are managed and fulfilled in relation to Custom Duties and liaise with appropriate providers.
- Ensures all required documentation is coordinated to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with International Commercial Terms (INCOTERMS) and all local, state and federal regulations.
- Route and arrange transportation of shipments between Site, module Yards and Marshalling Yards.
- Coordinate transportation for normal loads, special oversized loads, hazardous and Complex international shipments by all modes of transportation.
- Perform expediting and/or tracing activities with carriers, packers, and shipping agents.
- Support purchasing with carrier related insurance claims for overage, lost, or damaged cargo.
- Suggest and implement solutions to guarantee relationship between logistics and construction to assure all equipment arrives to site as scheduled.
- Determine requirements for, obtaining and administrating export or import licenses of countries through which a shipment will move.
- Determining and administrating customs and other Documentation requirements.
- Supporting and administrating logistics services in coordination with buyers and contract administrators and ensure all necessary documentation is distributed.
- Approve invoices as necessary.
- Support Expediting Dept. staff in the review of the relevant documentation.
- Availability to periodically visit site for supervision and control of all tasks related to local on shore transportation issues.
