Site Supervision – Electrical Technician Overhead Cranes

As a site supervisor and reliability technician for overhead cranes, you are responsible for managing and scheduling external service providers who perform electrical work on the customer’s overhead cranes. You draw up the necessary permits, consult with the customer’s employees to obtain the shutdowns, and closely monitor the work in terms of both safety and technical aspects. You report the progress of the work to the OVR BTR ELE and maintenance department OLM.

· Safety awareness (conducting safety talks)

· Planning shutdowns

· Drafting permits

· Monitoring electrical work

· Checking work preparation

· Scheduling shutdowns

· Technical skills

o Work permits & Risk analysis

o Basic knowledge of AREI (low voltage, BA4/BA5)

o Basic knowledge of AMC and cable routing

o Understanding of selectivity and protection (fuses, circuit breakers)

o Possession of BA4 and BA5 certificate

· Experience/Skills

o Strong safety awareness

o Analytical insight and a passion for technology

o Team player who can work independently

o Stress-resistant

o Sense of initiative

o Strong communication skills and administrative proficiency

o Good PC knowledge (Office, SAP, IT,…)

o Advantage: experience with collaboration with contractors

· Education

o Education level (bachelor’s, degree)

o Safety training (VOL VCA or Basic VCA?)

· Language skills

o Dutch

o French

o English
