Project Engineer Electricity Low Voltage

As a project engineer within the General Services department, you are responsible for the study and follow-up of electrical projects on the low-voltage network (<1000V). These include general electrical works, lighting, charging stations, access controls, railways and elevators.

You draw up specifications and manage the contractors for the electrical works together with the site supervisor.

The projects take place on the entire site of ArcelorMittal Gent.

· Organization of site visits with contractors.

· Coordination between departments and the electrical works.

· Planning of ongoing works.

· Safety supervision

· Technical skills

o Experience with low-voltage projects

· Experience/Skills

o Reading electrical diagrams

o Cable calculation

o Light calculation

o MS Office

· Education

o Master’s degree in electricity or electromechanics

o Professional Bachelor’s degree in electricity or electromechanics

· Language skills

o Dutch as native language
